Printing Tips
FOR WINDOWS 3.1 USERS- LASER PRINTERS Most HP compatible laser printers will do a fine job with the program. If your laser printer is having difficulty, download the latest version of the print driver. This should correct any problems you are having. - INK JET PRINTERS Some HP Ink Jet printers do not easily accept print commands from our program. This can occur on certain HP600-800 series printers. Using the HP550c driver will eliminate most of these problems. Upgrading your Windows version then would be even better. Some ink jet printers contain a water-based black ink that will bead-up on peel & stick label sheets. It is highly recommended that you use the red/green sticker sheet that is normally used for hand-drawing as the final color test of your ink jet printer. If the ink beads-up on your final test sheet, you should print the labels onto plain or ink jet paper and then photocopy them onto our colored label stock. - PRINTING GUARANTEED We are anxious for you to achieve the best results possible when printing your game. If all help fails, please call our customer service line at 1-630-860-2506 from 9 AM to 5 PM central time, Monday through Friday. Should we not be able to solve your printing problems for you by utilizing your own system, you can send us your saved game file (*.gam.) We will then output your game for you and return the pages to you by mail at no cost. |
FOR WINDOWS 95/98 USERS- CRASHING In a few cases, Version 1.0 (extremely dated version) can cause Windows 95/98 to lock up. If this occurs, you can try the following: 1) Re-boot and try again; - LASER PRINTERS Most HP compatible laser printers will do a fine job with the program. If your laser printer is having difficulty, try using the HP LaserJet III print driver. This should correct any problems you are having. - INK JET PRINTERS Some ink jet printers contain a water-based black ink that will bead-up on peel & stick label sheets. It is highly recommended that you use the red/green sticker sheet that is normally used for hand-drawing as the final color test of your ink jet printer. If the ink beads-up on your final test sheet, you can try setting your print driver to the photographic mode ("best" setting.) If you still have problems, should print the labels onto plain or ink jet paper and then photocopy them onto the colored label stock provided. If you are having problems with the HP DeskJet 820 printer, make sure you have the latest driver for that printer as well as the newest version of the software. The latest driver for the 820 is v8.5 and is available at the HP website. - PRINTING GUARANTEED We are anxious for you to achieve the best results possible when printing your game.
